Multi-axis Controller: Model Based algorith structure

The embedded algorithm structure of this axis controller is "Model Based", meaning that ProAxe Controller integrates a mathematical model based on the physical laws of mechanics. Inertia, unbalance and friction are all taken into account in this dynamic model that is integrated in the controller. This novel approach in the field of motion simulators allows iXMotion to develop control laws with better performance and new innovative and patented functions such as:
  • AUTO-TUNING which enables automatic balancing to replace the traditional and fastidious manual balancing;
  • SINUS ADAPTIF which enables forward/backward movement without attenuation and without phase shift;
  • DISTURBANCE REJECTION function which enables maximum elimination of disruptive frequencies intrinsic to electronic components such as motors (anti-cogging) and encoders (proper frequency).
